Grief and Community

Hello! I haven’t made a blog post in a while, not because we haven’t been doing much but because we’ve been doing a lot! For up-to-date details on our activities, check out our social media accounts.

I wanted to post here an article I wrote for The Banner magazine about grieving, how it’s an important part of the Bible, and an important part of Christian community. I realize in posting this here that I have not made it a significant part of our community, and I’m sorry for that. If you are grieving this holiday season–lost friends or loved ones, loneliness, difficult circumstances, disappointment, lost dreams, mental or physical illness, or things just not being as they should–please know that you are not alone. Please know that this is a community where you can share your grief, and know that if you feel alone, you can always reach out to me or someone in our community. Following Christ doesn’t mean being happy all the time.
